Our client is a well-established public accounting firm providing outsourced accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse mix of small and multi-state businesses. The firm has decades of history in its market and is known for a collaborative, low-turnover culture that feels more like a close-knit team than a typical public accounting shop. This is a hands-on manager role overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and tax work across a varied client base. The title reflects workflow and deadline ownership rather than a traditional people-management mandate, though the role does have two staff members whose work it reviews. Targeting a salary range of $80,000-$100,000 + bonus. Responsibilities Monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial statement preparation for multiple clients simultaneously Account reconciliations and journal entries across a diverse client portfolio Payroll processing, including weekly and biweekly cycles, payroll tax returns, and sales tax filings Review of work product for two accounting staff members on more complex engagements Client relationship management and proactive deadline coordination Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, from public accounting or industry Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines without close supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
